The Worst Foods for a Bikini Body

Nothing makes you happier than the thought of warm weather and sunshine! At first you think about how now you don’t have to layer up anymore.
On second thought you think about the prepping for the warm weather days.
Beginning the routine of working out and eating healthy is so tough.
It doesn’t help that food companies use targeted marketing and packaging to make unhealthy foods enticing to us from the minute we start eating solids.
Getting yourself beach-body ready only requires a bit of sweat and the proper nutrition. For today we’re focusing on foods!
Introducing the following nutrient-dense foods into your diet will help tone and shape your body while assisting in rapid weight loss efforts.
So, get a pen in one hand and a shopping list in your other—and get to it!
Refined Grains
Foods like these includes: White bread, white rice, many baked goods.

For many people, white pasta, rice, cookies, cereal, and bagels are in their day to day diet. But refined grains have been processed in a way that removes fiber and important nutrients, and taking the fiber out means you’ll feel less full, making it easier to overeat.
Since there’s no fiber, refined grains are digested much more quickly than unrefined ones.
Try swaps like brown rice for white rice, and nutty, whole-grain wheat bread for white bread.

Foods and Drinks With Added Sugar
By this I mean foods such as: Pasta sauce, fruit juice, yogurt, ice cream, candy, cookies and other condiments.
Manufacturers often add sugar (in the form of cane juice, fruit juice concentrate, high-fructose corn syrup, and more) to foods and drinks like yogurt, fruit juice, sports drinks, pasta sauce, granola, and condiments.
Try to avoid these foods and go for foods without added sugar.

Processed Foods
These types of food includes: Processed meats, packaged snacks, canned foods packed in syrup.
Processed foods can include sweeteners, emulsifiers, preservatives, colors, and flavors, many of which are artificial.
The unnecessary salt, sugar, fat, and artificial additives in this type of processed foods can promote weight gain.
Avoid the foods from the freezers and prepackaged food! Try to eat as raw as you can.
Greasy and Fried Foods
These foods are my personal favorite and downfall to eating healthy! They include foods such as burgers, fried chicken, pizza.
Research suggests that eating fatty fried foods on a regular basis could raise your risk of Type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

BUT don’t forget that healthy fat is an essential part of a balanced diet.
Aim to get most of your fat from unsaturated sources, such as nuts, seeds, avocados, and fatty fish like salmon and tuna.

Alcohol
By this I mean the obvious: Beer, wine, liquor.
People often overlook the role that caloric beverages, especially alcohol, have on weight, as many dieters solely focus on food choices.
While dieting it is okay to have a drink here and there but avoid drinking to excess.
